  • Introduction to Real Estate Course Outline

Designed for people considering entering into the real estate industry. It provides a basic foundation of knowledge to assist the student to understand the concepts of being a real estate agent.

In Introduction to Real Estate basic elements of knowledge are covered, such as:

How the real estate industry works
Ethical and professional controls on agency practice

  • Property Management Courses

PM Course will have two Phases - Introductory Module and Advanced Module with two Stages

Introductory Module

Introductory Module will touch on the Course Subjects shown below to show the students how and where Property Management fits into the whole real estate scheme of things and give students a working knowledge of Property Management and procedures. The Course will be for two days.

Advanced Modules

Advanced Module will have two Stages as well as a Commercial Stage for people wanting to concentrate on that area and will go into greater depth with the Course subjects. Advanced Modules will only be able to be attended after Students have been through the Introductory Module. The Advanced Module will be broken into the following Stages to be attended separately.

 

    • Introduction to Property Management Course Outline


This is a must for those considering real estate and in particular property management and is a pre-requisite to attending Property Management Stage 1 and Stage 2 courses.

Property Management is an ever growing field. With the increase of investors into the market place and the demand from tenants for accommodation, real estate offices are now specializing in providing management services to both the clients and customers.

 

    • Property Management Stage 1 Course Outline

Property Management Stage 1 builds on the knowledge learnt in Introduction to Property Management. It allows the course participant to develop their knowledge and skills to effectively service managed properties to meet the objectives of the business owner, landlord and tenant. It focuses on the importance of systemising the day-to-day operation and tasks of a property management business. By providing a consistent and reliable level of service to clients and customers they will maximize the opportunity to increase the client base. The course outlines the various systems required in a property management business and highlights the importance of enhancing the systems to offer a personalised service to clients.

  • Property Management Stage 2 Course Outline

Property Managers are required to attend both Introduction to Property Management and Property Management Stage 1 before attending to Property Management Stage 2. The purpose is to gradually build the course participants knowledge at each stage.

Property Management Stage 2 looks to broaden the course participants depth of knowledge in property management transactions, in particular those impacting on servicing clients, customers and protecting the interest of the Agency together with dynamically appraising, listing and marketing property for rent. A more practical hands on course, putting into practice all the knowledge gained over the three property management courses.

  • Commercial Property Management Course Outline


Commercial Property Management is a specialised field in the real estate industry. The knowledge and attributes of a commercial property manager are many, we look at;

Roles of the Commercial Property Manager
Understanding building services
Lifecycle and strategy considerations (lifecycle with commercial investments, property performance, commercial returns)
Financial (budgeting, expenditure, income) and reporting
Working with tenants (negotiating rent review and options, fitouts)

  • Trust Accounting - Course Outline

Trust Accounting is a course for Office Managers and Property Managers. The Course covers trust account documentation, record keeping and balancing of a trust account for audit purposes.


  • Real Estate Administration - Course Outline

The course looks at the structure of a real estate agency, the real estate office environment and communications skills. The role of the reception within the real estate office. The roles and functions of the Administrator/ Corporate support person is looked at in depth with the student. The documentation encounter within a real estate office together with real estate terminology. This course gives the 'office' person a good understanding of their roles and an understanding of how a real estate office operates.


  • Selling Real Estate Course Outline

IMPLEMENT A PERSONAL MARKETING PLAN - covering such things as professionalimage, meeting clients expectations, communicating effectively with clients, methods of communication, Code of Ethics, systems for communication, building credibility with clients.

ESTABLISH AND EXPAND CLIENT BASE - Market Analysis, determining client and customer profiles, target market profiles, selling cycle, sources of sales listing, working your territory, developing a prospecting strategy, sales listing strategies, expanding property management client base, develop and maintain a client database.

MARKET PROPERTY - Target Market, Product, Price, Place, Promotion, Mediums, creating effective advertising, marketing budget

PROVIDE A PROPERTY APPRAISAL - Market value of a property, role of the valuer, role of the real estate agent, research and property appraisal, determining rental price, determining sale prices.

 

  • Listing Properties For Sale Course Outline

Listing Properties For Sale is a course for Sales Agents. The Course looks at prospecting for new sales listings, developing listings strategy, presenting an appraisal, establishing seller motivation and expectations.


  • Making a Presentation Course Outline

Making a Presentation is a course for both Property Managers and Sales Agents. The
Course shows participants how to make a successful presentation with the primary focus on obtaining the business.
